Richard Wagamese- Power of Storytelling Event – Benefit Fundraiser for AIMCanada

AIMCanada presents Richard Wagamese – Power of Storytelling Event which is attracting people with ticket from all over the Thompson Nicola Cariboo, Okanagan and Vancouver regions. We have several hotels at various locations: Downtown, Sahali and Aberdeen, that are providing an RW Event Rate for those travelling in from out of town.

The evening consists of Monologue with Richard Wagamese, Guest Presenter Rodger W. Ross, Lobby Meet and Greet; Book Signing accompanied by live piano and guitar music. Richard Wagamese is a committed Mentor and Master Teacher who loves to build community.

This Storytelling Event will be held from 7 to 10 pm on Friday, January 30, 2015 at the Calvary Community Church.

Richard has graciously given this benefit event to assist AIMCanada with establishing our local TNC AIMCanada. Also he has donated a spot in one of his upcoming Summer Writers Retreat. Ticket sales are available in advance online at:

Dr. Richard Wagamese is an award-winning Ojibiway author. Richard has mentored and taught many authors and students during his career as a writer. His most recent book is Medicine Walk. Richard lives in Kamloops with his partner, Yvette.


Rodger W. Ross is an acclaimed and respected Tradtional Healer, Cree/Metis Pipecarrier and a former broadcaster and communication professional with his own communication company, Cree Runners.
